Greetings Fellow Boaters!!
The purpose and content of this website is to share boating
information with the Chattanooga community.
Our intention is to provide everything the boater needs. This will include
information on marinas and restaurants, boats for sale, boats wanted to buy,
marine parts needed to buy or sell, marine services including boat repair,
canvas, upholstery, etc. We will also include links to Boating stores, TVA &
TWRA info, Tennessee boating rules.
We intend to tell you about lake activities. River bend, July 4th fireworks, the
annual color cruise, and downtown activities. Will there be special times
recreational boaters can go through the locks? Check the site and find out.
There will also be a forum. This is where we are going to need your input. You
can ask or answer a mechanical question. Tell us who worked on your jet ski and
did a great job. Alert other boaters to shallow water or straying buoys. Share
information about great places to visit up river or down river that we might not
have heard about. Tell us your boating horror stories. Share a funny boating
story with us.
We want to know what is going on at your marina. Parties, meetings and gossip.
We want to know who passed out and got his toenails painted. Who fell in the
water yesterday, who flipped their jet ski over while showing off, who bought a
new boat. If there's a party at your marina, let us know. We will take some
pictures and put them on the website. You will also see a picture of the
"inconsiderate boater of the week". We would also like to see your
pictures.
Our names are Joyce & Johnny Johnson. We live on our houseboat at Big Ridge
Marina. We love everything about boating life and felt there was a need for
everyone to be able to share information other than word of mouth. We would love
